It is a conference for health care professionals, public health experts, community partners, policy makers, PLWHA, and key populations and affected communities to come together to take stock and share new knowledge and information that will stop the spread of HIV, fight HIV-related stigma and discrimination, and improve care and support for PLHIV Singapore.

Topic: Stigma & Discrimination faced by Sex Workers

Stigma and discrimination against sex workers do not arise from the nature of their work but from societal taboos, moral judgments, and a lack of understanding. This stigma not only isolates sex workers but also denies them basic human rights, including access to healthcare, legal protection, and social support.
